Vinegar typically contains 58 acetic acid by volume. Usually the acetic acid is produced by the fermentation of ethanol or sugars by acetic acid bacteria. There are many types of vinegar, depending on source materials. Vinegar is now mainly used in the culinary arts: as a flavorful, acidic cooking ingredient, or in pickling. Musically in style of early Pink Floyd, progressive but very psychedelic, long instrumental tracks but also with female vocalist reminding of Nico. One of the lost treasures from Germany and very sought after . Discover all of this album's music connections, watch videos, listen to music, discuss and download. Город: vinegar is not just for culinary use anymore. This multi-tasker is a powerful all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, and beauty aid. And the best vinegar for cleaning is distilled white vinegar. Ive documented an enormous amount of white vinegar uses, and Im not sure I found them all. I have tested these to make sure they work, so I know they will work for you. Since I began writing these articles, people have been asking me questions about the benefits of vinegar and how to use vinegar to clean. They want to know how to clean floors with vinegar, how to clean walls with vinegar, and is vi

One of the prime star reissues, Vinegar was a mysterious album, that I only ever had as a cassette recording, and was at the top of my wants list. There was a rumour that came via Günter Körber (Brain/Sky Records) that they were part of the history of Electric Sandwich, but this seems to be not the case.
Vinegar's sole album was a magical affair, full of innovation, strong composition, and with lengthy tracks that gave lots of room for the unexpected, a wealth of musical complexities and instrumental solo breaks. Their brand was undoubtedly psychedelic spiced rock, and one that mixed in a lot of styles. Popularly their music had been compared to British bands like Tractor or Elias Hulk, yet one could quote T2 and a little Pink Floyd, amongst dozens of other flashes that come to mind. Yet one of the guitarists had a very Jim Cippolina (Quicksilver) flair, and the violin work certainly recalls Simon House (with High Tide and Hawkwind) and Chris Karrer (of Amon Düül II). But, in all, Vinegar had a style of their own that was none of this, very Teutonic, and difficult to pin-down, much like Gomorrha's diverse I TURNED TO SEE WHOSE VOICE IT WAS.
Undoubtedly, the violin is a key factor in the music, but it's only one focus, as the
multi-guitars fill-in a lot of the textures against the never too dominant organ. The variations in mood and power, with tracks that are often sewn together, all add up to a continuous stream of surprising nods to classical and jazzy themes. The opening Missi Solis supports a majestic rock ballad (sung in a restrained soft English) held inside a track that keeps threatening to break-out. Dagmar Dormagen (who generally plays flute elsewhere) adds some nicely punky vocals that wouldn't be out of place in early Amon Düül II, at the opening of Sawmill, a two-part track that covers almost everything Krautrock imaginable. The demented vocals that enter in Der Kaiser Auf Der Erbse are another unexpected but perfect addition to the albums continual innovation.
Admittedly, Vinegar did almost stumble over themselves at times, and there are a couple of guitar notes that don't sound quite right, yet it seems that the album was largely performed live, all in one day, which is quite remarkable considering the quality of the sound. These very minor "flaws" don't at all detract from what is a remarkable and stunning album.
