Y Not is the 16th studio album by Ringo Starr, released on 12 January 2010 on the UMe and Hip-O Records labels. Peace Dream features former Beatle Paul McCartney on bass another Beatle, John Lennon is referenced in the song. The Other Side of Liverpool is about Starr's pre-Beatles days in Liverpool. Starr duets with Joss Stone on closing track Who's Your Daddy. Ringo is the third studio album by English musician Ringo Starr, released in 1973 on Apple Records. It peaked at No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. In Canada, it reached No. 1 on the RPM national albums chart. The album is noted for being the only project on which all four Beatles collaborated between the band's breakup in 1970 and the murder of John Lennon in 1980 though they didn't all work on the project simultaneously at any. Ringo Starr defined his solo career through his collaborations, scoring his first big hit with the assistance of his fellow Fabs and later sustaining himself through his All-Starr Band, so his decision to produce 2010s Y Not on his own appears to be a big deal. Fill In The Blanks Lyrics. This article presents the discography of Ringo Starr, former drummer and occasional singer and songwriter of British rock band the Beatles. When the band broke up in the spring of 1970, Ringo Starr embarked on a solo career. Along with the other Beatles, he spent the first half of the seventies on Apple Records, the label created by the band for themselves. Starr moved to Atlantic Records after his contract with EMI expired and his career diminished in commercial impact, even though he continued to
